I am 14 years old and in 9th grade. I live in Hopkinton, Massachusetts and go to Hopkinton Highschool. I currently play field hockey. I have been playing for about two years and I enjoy it very much. I also play the piano. I started when I was about six years old in first grade. I have learned a variety of different songs from classical songs like "River Flows in You" to more modern songs like "Apologize". My Favorite Colors are: Pink, Red, Purple, and Blue My role models include my parents and Demi Lovato. My dad created his own business called Onepin which is a cell phone software company. He travels to many different countries and states and works very hard. He is very passionate for what he does and inspires me to be successful. My mom stays home with me and my younger brother, Alex who is four years old. She takes us everywhere we want and never complains. She is such a great mother and I couldn't have asked for a better one. Also I really look up to Demi Lovato who is a singer and an actress. She started off as a disney star, while growing up with a lot of pressure to be what the media displayed as "perfect". Before becoming a well known celebrity she dealt with bullying for her body image. While in the public eye she was self harming and had diseases such as anorexia and bulimia. She eventually came out with her issues and later on went to rehab to help herself. She saves many people's lives who deal with the same issues she has dealt with and still deals with today. She lets people know that they are not alone and provides security and guidance for those who need support. Unlike a lot of celebrities she is real. She uses her fame to get her voice out there and inspire many young teens and adults to be who they are and emphasizes alot on showing people that they are beautiful inside and out. By telling people that they are worth it and that they do not need to be what the media believes is "perfect" is what makes her a truly inspiring person to me. I am lucky to be surrounded by such incredible people who are always there for me and make me smile 24/7. I am an intern at Build It Yourself and I am learning a lot like how to make animations, GIMP, Building Websites with HTML and self portraits on PowerPoint! I really am looking forward to working with John and many other interns just like me. |
